If an area is struggling under excessive load and stress, the end result will be a chronic problem. Typical examples are ‘bad’ backs; knee problems; hip mobility/pain; shoulder issues, tennis and golfer’s elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome, painful hand joints, flat feet, shin splints and neck issues. The list is literally endless.
The basic approach is the same, but be more cautious in the initial stages - more short practice sessions during the day (a minute here, a minute there), of less intensity and more focus on breathing.
Quietly observe the responses of the body and slightly adjust the intensity accordingly.
